The Personal Injuries Assessment Board’s (PIAB) offices are based in Tallaght, Dublin 24.

PIAB draws on a multi-disciplined and skilled resource of  80 permanent staff, covering a broad spectrum of technical, legal, financial, health and safety, human resources and other professional resources.

Collaboration, enthusiasm and pride in our work and the Board’s achievements are central to PIAB’s working environment . PIAB is a knowledge intensive organisation and its success is determined by the expertise, professionalism and drive of its staff. PIAB places a high emphasis on staff training and development and on human resource management. PIAB operates an open professional management style in which two-way communication is actively encouraged.

A number of permanent colleagues in the Board will be availing Atypical Working from September 2017, in the form a reduced working week or career breaks. As a result PIAB currently has a number of temporary vacancies for 12 month contracts for Claims Assessor - Higher Executive Officer (four temporary vacancies) and Clerical Officer (2 temporary vacancies)

The four  contracts for the Claims Assessor – Higher Executive Officer will commence on September 4th 2017 and run till 31st August 2018. The vacancies at Clerical Officer are available immediately will an expiration date of 31st August 2018.

The competencies identified in the application form are seen by the Board as the essential knowledge, skills, and attributes required to contribute to successful performance and, ultimately, to the goals and priorities of PIAB. Successful candidates who are selected these temporary positions must have all the competencies, qualifications, and experience, to enable them to carry out the role effectively. The contracts are all temporary and full time (37 hours per week).
